New Test Track!

A friend who is there now and just rode today said it's awesome!

I'm not really sure about it, it actually doesn't look all that exiting now and it looks very dark and to much like tron.

I felt the same thing from the video i saw -- i suppose it's the unseen elements of the ride that make it "better" -- mind you-- the interactive elements -- what happens when Family A and Family B get in the same vehicle -- one of those families elements will be tossed.

actually there can be six different designs being tested with the one vehicle. There are no changes to the ride itself. The car you design is "tested" against the sim car on the track and you see how your car performs against it.

I rode it at the soft opening a couple of days prior to the grand opening. The new computer cards, on which you program your preferences seem to be having a few glitches and the CM's seemed to be unclear on giving riders the proper instructions as to how to activate the features( you have to scan the card by passing it across a blue domed button prior to entering your test vehicle). I am sure they have the bugs worked out by now. On all the times I rode it, everyone in the vehicle had the same impression that it seemed to be faster on the last banked curve than the old TT. Overall, I liked it! The walk -through hall leading to the vehicle, is darker but it is so quiet compare to the old factory setting. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 2 thumbs up out of three

We felt it was very over rated. Cast Members were very confused in the waiting area before you go in to program your car. We felt it was an hour wasted that we could have been doing something else like Soarin. We were never big fans of the ride before the change. Tried it once, now we can skip it going forward.

We just came back last weekend, and the kids loved it... we rode it 5 times via standby and 2 times with fast pass over 2 days. Kids liked standby way better as you dont design your car in the fastpass version.

They also liked the interactive stuff after the ride... it was a favorite this trip for sure.

Excellent video :goodvibes

It looks like a decent ride and I probably will like it -- but it's truly nothing like the old one until you're actually on the track. I'm really glad we rode it so many times last year.

Thanks :)
