New tent!!

My husband and I recently purchased a new tent. We are setting it up tonight and staying in it for a dry run for our Disney trip at the end of the month. I am going to do a video review and depending on how it comes out I may post it here.

When you have it set up for a test run, go get you a can of silicone spray or something to put on the seams of the tent.... I'm sure you tent says its water proof, no leaks, yada yada yada.... It isn't

What kind of spray do you recommend? I'm assuming you can get it at Wal-Mart or Home Depot right?

Silly question haha but do you spray the tent in the inside or outside seams? Or both?

I'm not sure of any certain brands. But you can just go to the camping section of your Walmart and they should have it. Spray both it won't hurt it. Make sure you let it air out before sleeping in it.. Common sense but had to throw it out there

The can of spray is less than $5 or $6 and I also grab a can when I bought my First Up canopy/tent we use to go over the picnic table while camping. It does help with leaks and gives the nylon strength.

Great stuff, i spray jackets, boots and hats with it to make them water repellant.
