New Target holiday mailer--$10 off $100 coupon

I just got this mailer yesterday and instantly thought: Disney GCs! I can use my red card with it. Woo hoo!

I tried this and it didn't work for me. I had $15off $150 and bought $175 Disney gc's. It brought up screen saying I didn't purchase enough so I am thinking it will not work on these. I know before all tq's such as these did work on all gc's except visa type and target.
Hopefully it will work for you! I thought it would have made a great deal!

These are considered "entertainment cards" not gift cards for most purposes, so why wouldn't it work?

Worked for me! I bought $200 in disney gift cards and used the $10 off $100 plus my pharmacy rewards and my red card and I had a target gift card for $10 for buying something in the store recently so it brought my total down to 162.45 yay!!!!

Nice! Thanks. I have to buy about $3500 worth in the next few weeks so I will try again. Maybe for some reason, it just didn't think the amount I had was enough?? Should have been, even after my 5% RC discount.
I will not give up!!

Exactly! I was going to say the same thing, but realized that some people just do not understand how Target works. I have bought TONS of disney GC's with coupons before. Actually, Here's to hoping they come out with the awesome tq's like they did last year around the holidays. That is why I haven't bought all my disney cards yet.

Thanks, everyone! I often buy Disney gc's with Target gift cards I've gotten, as I know about the "entertainment vs gift card" categorization, but I thought maybe this one excluded them from what PPs have said. I'm glad to hear that it has worked for some! I think I'll go and give it a try today.

Just used the $10 off $100 today on Disney gift cards with no issues! Bought $800 worth of cards. I used my Target red card, 5% pharmacy rewards and $10 coupon and my total was $712.50 for the $800 in gift cards
