1) New Annual Pass holder's Rate

Special rates starting at $139.00 per night, available at BOTH the Walt Disney World Dolphin, as well as the Walt Disney World Swan.

I currently have a reservation at Disney ASM, but I think I will cut over to the Swan. To do this, I have to book at the Swan and cancel my Disney reservation. Hope this helps someone else.

Well, I did it. I cancelled my reservation at ASM and made a reservation at the Swan using the AP code. My reservation at the ASM was for $109 a night. The Swan with the code was $139 + tax per night ($154.99). I got a complimentary upgrade to a waterview room at the SWAN. She booked a non-smoking room with two queen heavenly beds for me.

Even though it is a bit more expensive, it should be fun. We've never stayed at the Swan before!

You did the right thing! There is no comparing these two extremely diiferent resorts! For one, the Swan is a deluxe resort. I just returned from a stay at the Swan (we stayed at the Dolphin last summer). I'm sold on these resorts! The location is incredible. The heavenly beds are heavenly. The resort amenities and services are superb. The pools are not crowded - no problem getting a lounge. And so much more!

We booked a standard King room and received a comp upgrade to a Jr. Suite with balcony. That's sure using the PD!

Yippee, I just got the Swan for $139/night. I've been wanting to stay there.

Is that $139/night per room? Does anyone know if they charge extra for more than 2 adults (twins are 18)? I have been thinking about the Swan for a while now. Maybe I should do it right? Otherwise, it's a Mod or ASM for us this November.

We just checked for six nights, 9/17-9/23, and NO discounts were available at all, not even AP rates. We were quoted $289/night. There were dates available from 9/1--9/13 but we cannot change our travel dates. Maybe this trip is just not destined to be.

Cleokitty -- I would call back again. I just spoke with them about my reservation at the end of Sept and they gave me the $139 rate -- my rate before was $164 (even that rate is better than what they quoted you).

I would call again. Something doesn't seem right.

Just booked the AP rate for Dec 27-Jan 3. I'm going to save about $900 over the BC resv. I already had, I had the Come Back rate at BC. Guess I'll try the BC on my next visit. I can sure eat alot of meals for $900.

Unfortunately, this was the 2nd time I called. The first time I was quoted $305/night. The first person also told me that no discounts were available for our dates. They also told me that the Dolphin had no availability. Oh well. . . .

Cleokitty -- just trying to help you. I just went to the Swans website and used their online reservation system. I keyed in your dates -- Sept 17-23 and asked for rooms available and any special promotional rates. It came back with a nonsmoking room availaible for the 6 nights for $169. Grant it that is a little higher than the $139 rate we got, but clearly much lower than what you were quoted.

You might want to try booking that way.

Got a "lakeview" room (comp. upgrade from just standard they said) requested King bed, of course could not be guaranteed.) Brings us up to $154.98 per night and then a ten dollar per day resort fee is added on. Unfortunately, I think it's back to POR King room in the mansions for us. (110.00 per night)

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I had a lake view room booked at $149 a night before fees and taxes. I just changed to a lake view room using the LABOR code and now we are paying $99 a night before tax and fees. We are saving $58 a night when you add in the tax and fess so over a 10 night stay that is $580. Thank again for posting this information.
