New SW sale--$50 each way Sac to OC

Sale is for travel Dec 23-June 5. I booked on points for Feb and got 3 RT fares for 13,674 points (4558 each RT)!

Oh DizMe--that is tempting!! I am going on Friday and I figured my next trip needs to wait until DD Feb 2016 (as I busted the budget with 3 trips this year), but $50 from Sac--Wow! Thanks for sharing!

Wow! You're right! It now says those fares are sold out. Guess it was popular. I've never seen a SW fare sell out that quickly except for the old days when they had the $25-each-way deals.

I'm using points but I checked anyway, and I was at least able to change our return flight to an earlier time without additional cost.

Sac-SNA flights are $49 again, most days except Sundays thru early-Aug! I just booked our flights for Dapper Day weekend! Sadly we can only stay for one night so got the $49 deal for Sat, but our return flight was super expensive. Oh well, at least we got half a deal and since I used points I will just keep checking to see if the Sun return flights go down.

Thank you!!! I had to cancel my original great deal and I hadn't planned to go to Dapper Day because I was going the week before. So, since my other plans fell through I decided yesterday to book a flight for DD and you just saved me 1400 points or something like that!

We are on the 7ish flight. We only have to drive from Davis so it's only a little over 20min to the airport. It's me and DH, who is not too thrilled with the early flight but I told him he can go take a nap later in the afternoon. It's my birthday weekend and we have never stayed at GCH so we jumped on this chance to do so, even for one night I think it will great. We will be without DS6 so we can get tons done and still have time to relax and partake in some libations at Trader Sams and Cove Bar (I haven't done either of those yet)! Not sure if we will dapper up or not. I am all about comfort in the parks so the thought of walking around in a dress and fancy shoes does not appeal to me at all. We will have fun watching all of you though! I haven't signed into the Dapper Day thread yet since I wasn't sure if we would actually go or not, there's still a chance we will cancel, but now that flights are booked I'm pretty excited!

I'll watch for the DD activities and maybe we'll stop in to say hi!

Thank you SOOOOO much for posting this. I just called and got us $72 flight credit for another flight. Now the problem is finding the funds to book another flight before they sell out of this rate. Just so happens that we are getting AP's on our February trip so another trip would be nice when there are not so many refurbs and the 60th anniversary celebration. I'm sure by the time we can pay for it, the flights will be gone. Such a bummer, but one can hope. I kinda just wish they would credit my card, we could use the Disneyland spending money.

I've not gotten a Ding offer in months. These $49 deals just seem to sort of randomly appear. The email I got today said the sale fare was $79!

Same here DizMe. I didn't get a Ding alert either about the $49 sale, but saw the $79 sale advertised. I'm glad you were my Ding alert and told me about it! It's good to have dingy friends! LOL!!

I snagged that price too for me and my little using my points! Flying out early Saturday for dapper day, coming home Tuesday

Sure beats 7 hours of my DD3 asking if every building on the side of the road is disneyland yet and what's that smell???
