new sw dates are up gett'm while they are hot!!

Excellent!

Just snagged a Hartford (BDL) to MCO for $99 each way ($218 round trip with tax) for Oct- non stop too. Much better than Delta's non-stop for $316!!!

Sorry to hear everyone else is so disappointed.

I booked mine today, $87 each way from Indianapolis non-stop, sounded good to me!

Happy planning!

i am not saying these are the best prices around, i did wait once and no ding came up so i had to pay for one of those totally refundable flights that was outragious:mad: , so i always book right away and then see if a ding comes up. I also live about 15 to 20 minutes away from the airport have a sticker on my car that cost me $30 for 2 years of unlimited parking at the airport and sw is really the only major airline at islip airport, so for me to go to nyc and pay
ok i just checked jetblue same $$ as swa plus i would need to pay for parking or limo
airtran is actually more than both $104 each way and has 1 stop mine is non stop again
i would need to pay for limo/ or parking. so this makes me feel better now lets hope for a ding.

Another Rhode Islander here, and a pissed off SW loyal customer also. We are flying to Orlando 9/15-9/22 and were waiting for the schedule to expand today and we end up with $158 one way?!?!?! Well I just checked JetBlue in Boston and today the flights for our dates dropped from $99 one way to $79 so needless to say, we booked JetBlue for $158 RT instead of SW for $158 one way!!!

Thanks JETBLUE!!!

168 one way non stop, total comes to over one thousand dollars for the three of us- ouch!! I am now looking at changing my dates around a little bit, that is what I get for making my disney trip from sunday to sunday. FLights are so more expensive for the weekends. I probaly will buy each flight separate and hope for a ding?? Any thoughts on my chances???

Waiting here too - we're going in July, and still no Dings! My sis is going in June, and she got $50 ding each way. There's seven of us in July, and we're not paying $168 each way from Buffalo - I've never paid more than $200 roundtrip and usually less than that even. So here I patiently sit glued to my chair staring at the blank wing on my desktop so I can pounce when the envelope shows up!!:rolleyes1

There was a DING a few weeks ago for July from Buffalo - can't remember exact price, but I think it was around $50. Since then I haven't seen anything more for July.

Just booked for Sept $218.80 RT. I used to travel President's week, the prices that week are crazy, so this actually seems cheap!!

Jeez! I had to walk away from my desk for just a few minutes, and in that small time span, not only did the dates finally open up, but all the price categories except for the most expensive sold out on the dates I need, flying out of BWI. I have never been so glad to have a Rapid Reward credit. Of course, all the RR seats on flights out of BWI were sold out as well. Thank goodness SW flies out of Dulles now. I'm not happy about the 4:30 p.m. departure on my return, but at least I've got my flights.

Waiting here too. I set the highest price I will accept and book as soon as it hits that. I usually end up with a credit too. There is no way I will pay $136 each way from Nashville to Orlando!

I looked at our dates, 10/11 - 10/17 from PHL and was unimpressed. On a lark I checked AirTran from PHL and got the 2 of us from there to MCO and back, direct flights, for $237.60 total. I'll take it!

I got ours for $79.00 each way (each person). Not the best fare, same as I paid 2 years ago. I will watch now for Dings and cheaper, I'm just glad I got the flights. I was nervous about the fare coming back from after the cruise, I don't want to sit at the airport for 4 hours, and wanted a direct flight both ways. So, if I don't get it for cheaper I'll be OK.:goodvibes :goodvibes

Once again the prices from PVD are ridiculous for the early morning non stop. Air Tran has $99pp out of BOS so I booked those. I am sick of SW pricing. It used to be great. The day they came out we would book our seats. There were never any "unavailable" listings. They are not sold out in those categories. It is a game they play and I am tire of playing.

The fares SWA werent any bargain for me! Abt $250 pp RT..no thanks, went back to my United and got a better deal all the way around with flight, time and price $196 pp, just $4 more than Airtran...Ill take united and get some miles:)

I am considering booking with Airtran myself. I can get $99 down and $79 back, however, I'm 45 minutes away from Boston and would need to pay for transportation to Boston. But I still think I come out ahead considering $158 is just one way.

Maxwell, have you traveled with Airtran before? I keep reading stories about flights being changed. How can I check flights while I'm at Disney to make sure that I get to the airport on time? (I don't have a laptop). Maybe I'm just a nervous nelly. Don't know if I should wait for Southwest to drop prices. I just checked for my flights to Vegas (end of May) and they haven't dropped. They are actually a lot higher than what I paid ($99 each way as soon as they came out).

Someone please make me feel better.

Mine aren't showing passed Aug. 24!!!!! It says they are booking through Nov. 2, but it won't let me select passed 8/24. ????
