I see there is a favorable review of this new ride/show. Anyone else just back get a chance on this. We were almost done the "ride", and my DD turns to me and asks me " When is the ride going to start?"

We were glad we did not miss anything important to go on this.

Uh oh, we have been looking forward to this one. Yikes! How old is your dd? My little guy is turning 5 and he loves Stitch and all the experiments that are part of the Disney Channel show so I would hate for him to be dissapointed! How much was ride and how much is show?I also read that after the ride you are lead out into a small shopping area filled with Stitch stuff. Did you notice any of the "experiments" toys or stuff there? Thanks for any info....

My DD is 8, there are periods of all dark where Stitch is to be running around, and your harness moves, I think with the harness DD was expecting to be moved around like the Shrek ride at Universal. There is the light spray of water and alot of Stitch sounds. 2 pre shows that are more than half the time you are in the ride.

We had a PS for Tony's so we rushed through the shop, so sorry I can't help alot there.

DD loves Tower, Aerosmith, Mission Space and Test Track, but she still liked the flying carpets and the carousel.

Our expectations may have been too high based on some of the other show type rides.

I hope you all really enjoy it, when we go back we would give it another try. Maybe just a bad time of day.

Hi I just got back from my trip to the world. I rode the stitch ride there while they were doing test runs, and I found it to be a lot more light-hearted and kid-friendly than Alien Encounter was. My nine year old sister got a real kick out of it, and she usually gets nervous on scarier rides.

We also went down to the Magic Kingdom on the opening day of the ride (though we didn't ride it that day). Stitch had toilet papered the castle and put up a big sign that said, "Stitch is King". It was so cute! They also had wanted posters up for him all over Main Street. There was a lot of media there, and they had part of the area in front of the castle blocked off, so it was hard to get a good picture of the castle which was a bummer!
