New Star View Lounge Video - Artwork

Some cool insights into/history of some of the artwork in the lounge. Definitely not just a bunch of junk they had laying around and decided to just throw up on the wall (are you listening, Epcot Lounge?).

Yeah, I keep wondering whether the status of the Epcot lounge as "just for this year because Disney has no other use for this space on top of the Imagination pavilion" has changed any or is still year-to-year. Getting new furniture did make me hopeful that its life appears to be longer now, but additional freshening up sure would be a positive step.

I mean, to be honest, the Star View Station is still "temporary" as it's in a space that's been used for a dozen different things over the years (back in the day, before they removed the empty COP/America Sings theaters, the space was the area offices for Tomorrowland attractions and foods). At least one wall is still a black drape, but they definitely put about 2000% more effort, planning, and work into it than the Epcot lounge.

Yes, it seems they hope/expect Star View Station will stay there for some time, enough at least to make it worth the effort they put into it. The Epcot lounge (for those who are new to this history) was originally announced as a temporary thing, for 2016 only, to celebrate DVC's 25th anniversary, and it's been extended on a year to year basis ever since.
