New Spirit Airlines Frequent Flyer Program

I am not sure if this has been mentioned before, but I just went online to Spirit and signed up today for their frequently flyer program. I almost always fly spirit (or NW) to MCO. It seems to be one of the only two airlines that fly direct from DTW. I was also able to get credit for my two trips that I already have booked with them. So, if you ever fly Spirit, sign up!

TAKitty- thanks for posting this - I was wondering why their site was down this AM. I fly spirit several times a year - when their rates get too high I drive a little further for SWA. How did you get them to credit your already booked flights? I also have a flight scheduled for June and would like to get credit for it. TIA for any help on who to contact.

When you sign up for the "free spirit" program, there is a button on the left side that says "request mileage credit". All I had to do was type in the reservation number. They do not credit your account until after you have taken the flight.
