Does anyone know who manufactures those new sofa beds? They are great--solid, comfy, no bar in the back, cool storage for pillows and blanket. Plus, they seem like they will really hold up well. We wouldn't mind getting an extra sofa bed and were really impressed with this one.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

Why don't you just call Guest Services directly at the hotel and ask them? The phone # for the hotel is 407-934-8000. Just a thought!

WOW! I heard they renovated the carpets in the hallway at the BCV..i didnt realize they put new sofa beds in? What else did they do at the BCV are far as minor renovatins go?

any pics of the BCV with the new carpets and sofa beds?

Per a search and other posters, they are supposedly made by http://www.americanleather.com/ My dad slept on one at OKW and it was definitely much better than the old style.

Call guest services. I called about the sofa beds at BWV and the guy in charge told me the name of the company. American leather made the old sofa sleepers but another company, www.logichospitality.com makes the new ones at BWV anyway.

When I called the company, they said that they were considering selling these to the public. I haven't checked again. I want one for my family room so I may check again soon.

I admit I didn't pay attention to the one they had at BWV when i was there last (no need to use it) but I can see the difference for sure. The one I linked we had at OKW. Those were awesome! These look totally different and way too much like the traditional sofas. I'll see what we get in April when we stay at BCV. Odd that they switched from one place to the other though.

What I loved about the BWV sofa beds is that all of the cushions stay on the bed and that the sleeping pillows were kept in pockets that were attached to the bed.

The new sofa beds at the BCV are the same as the ones at the BW. They are different from the new ones at OKW and SSR. Both are an improvement but different in style.

Thanks all for the quick replies and great info! When the front desk didn't know, I knew the DIS would! :D

Anyway, the Logic Hospitality bed is definitely the one at BCV. What an improvement in the design of sofa beds. I will send them an email!

The ones at OKW and SSR are similar to the American leather ones with a wooden platform base, no medal and they have a memory foam mattress on them. Very comfortable. :thumbsup2

While the ones at BW and BCV are an improvement, I don't find them as comfortable to sleep on due the mattress.

I was told they changed to them, because of complaints about how difficult it was to open the American Leather design and that the sofa did not sit well. I did not have any trouble opening it, but did find that the sofa cushions did not sit well and kept sinking down into the couch frame.

This is a link on the American Leather site that shows the sleepers.
