New Soarin Video -- To Watch or Not?

I watched it as part of the Shanghai video. I'll see it in person in July. I'll withhold detailed comment until then, but I'm gonna be a happy girl when I see it "live".

I have not watched it yet, but I might as well. The new Soarin' definitely won't be ready for when we are there in early June. I have no idea when/if we ever will go back to WDW. It's more likely we will go to DL before WDW, but even that won't be anytime in the next year to two (or three).

I still haven't watched video of Mine Train so I definitely won't be watching Soarin! We last visited WDW in 2013 and I have resisted Mine Train footage since it opened. Finally going in September so I am looking forward to several new attractions! I hate spoilers in general, I think movies are more enjoyable if I haven't seen the trailers. (I am not perfect though, I did cave and watch Festival of Fantasy).

I watched. It was shorter than I expected, since it had to go all around the world. Good music.

I'm usually all about spoilers. 3 hours before the midnight release of the last Harry Potter book, I found and read a list of all the characters that died in the book. I'm always looking for tidbits of information on things that I love.

But Soarin' has been my happy place since the first time I rode it and I'm already so scared that the new movie won't be the same to me, so I figure I'll at least give it a chance by waiting to get the full experience.

If I wasn't going to be able to ride it for a year+ I'd most likely watch it.

However, I'm going in July so I will be waiting.

I did learn (by watching the clip) that there is more that I DISlike about this film (much more, actually) compared to the original.

I love spoilers but this is something I have to wait to see in person. Nothing like "new" magic.

We'll be there on its opening day, June 17, so nope, not watching ahead of time. I hope it'll be awesome.

Really hoping to get to ride with the old video on our other Epcot day, June 13, for old times sake!

I totally watched it! But I also read the last few pages in an book to know how it ends before I start at the beginning. My husband and son are standing strong and will not watch it until we see it live on Jun 20! I was actually hoping more to see if Warburton was doing the safety video or not, but no one recorded that part :(

We'll wait until we're there in November. We believe in delayed gratification.

I watched it. I think it looks great! But they better still have scents to go with it. I love the scents. :)

I'm waiting! I'll watch everything else from Shanghai but that video since I know I'll see it on our next trip. On a big screen. Not a smartphone or teeny computer.

I _zealously_ protect myself against spoilers. To this day, all I've seen of Seven Dwarves Mine Train, Expedition Everest, and other attractions that have opened since I last visited, has been a few frames here and there on commercials. When I'm watching YouTube videos I'll mute the sound and cover my eyes if the vloggers are in a part of WDW I haven't seen yet.

We'll be in California when it opens at DCA, so I don't want to see it beforehand. We aren't huge Soarin' lovers, but we're excited to see the new version right away...and unless we're just blown away, it means someone else can have our FPs at WDW in December.

I won't be able to see it for more than 18 months :( so I watched it as it's one of my favourite rides. If we were going thi year, I'd have waited! I know it will be different in real life as it's bigger/smells/movement etc... but on first view, I don't like it as much which I'm really sad about. The music's great though!
