I haven’t been to Disneyland with my autistic son since 2016.
I heard we register online first now? And they give you two addition reservations a day? So ok questions
1. When can I register for the DAS? (our first day at the parks is Wednesday March 22nd.
2. Where do I go to register for the DAS online??
3. Are the two attractions per day in addition to whatever we put on our DAS that day?
4. Is there a limit on which rides we can put for the advanced reservation when registering?
5. Do we have to know which attraction and time when registering for the reservation time? (I don’t know when my son will be ok for certain things or hungry etc and is there a time limit for it?)
6. How long does the process take?
7. Is there a certain time I should try to register online?
8. I work two jobs so I don’t have a lot of time during the day are there only certain hours in the day that we can register online?

Thanks in advance for any help. Nervous about this.

Thank you for the help!
I’m on the west coast so waking up at 4am is going to suck but my son has to be on the call as well correct? Lol that’s going to be fun.
I was hoping the rides to chose from wouldn’t be so limited.
Is web slingers a virtual que?

Web Slingers is not a virtual queue anymore but Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway is.

According to the DIsneyland website, the video chat is open 9am-8pm pacific time.

Make sure you are using the links for Disneyland when you are ready to do the video chat.

When I was reading the thing it says all days have to be within the 2-30 day window. I was hoping to do it Monday (since I have off work) but only my first day of the trip would be within the 2-30 day window. Ugh.

You can register for DAS still. You just can't make all your preselects. They're two separate parts, so you are able to go back and do that later

The preselected rides are limited and there might not be great times to choose from either. We alternated them with our regular Das selections and it worked well. But I know a lot of people who have found the preselected to be too inconvenient and they ended up not using a lot of them, they just used the regular Das times. You mentioned he will be asleep during the video call. He only needs to be on for a few seconds to take the photo. My daughter slept the whole time and I just woke her up for the photo and she went right back to sleep.Serious case of bed head but it worked!

I just did it yesterday for my first park day March 21st and she let me do advanced selections for the 22nd and 23rd too which is our entire trip. It was an easy process. I would tell her my two rides then she would give me 3 times to pick from for each ride. I got on right at opening and waited about 40 minutes, getting logged off twice during that time. If you get logged off, you just have to refresh and it saves your place in the queue.

This was horrible and confusing.
At 9am I hit the button that said live chat and it brought up a chat window with a boy that just said if I wasn’t registered yet to go back to the same page. And hit what! That bot window was the only thing I could select! Then I tried a backwards way in and it said something about terms and conditions and now the live bot says it transferred me to the virtual DAS advanced registration queue but the live chat bot window is up!!!!
So am I waiting for an actual person?
It is 9:09 and it says my wait time has exceeded 60 minutes. So did it give up?
Does the live chat bot window turn into something else when they are ready???

This is what it looks like

Yup and trying to get back on is hit or miss. It logged me out and I tried refreshing to get back in and it wouldn’t go back in

Yah I did it! Well mostly. She was only able to do the advance ride reservation thing for the first day of our trip. She said doing just the advance ride reservation thing is a lot quicker and I should be able o do it later.
She was nice and recommended a different Fantasmic dining package. We had hungry bear on the go and she said the seating is really far off to the left. She recommended getting a River belle dining reservation and then asking them to use the Fantasmic seating area.
