New Sims game?

My sister asked for the new sims game for Christmas....what is the new sims game?? I see so many different ones and I am not familiar with them at all ....can someone help me? Thanks!

If she already has Sims3 then it would be the newest expansion pack which would be Sims 3 Pets which came out in Oct. This is for the PC version.

I love Sims but it is very addicting esp when you start purchasing expansion packs.

Target has the Sims3 for PC Buy 1 Get 1 FREE this week. I picked up 2 expansions yesterday and my mom picked up 2 of the more expensive expansions for my niece, too. The basic Sims3 game is also included in the sale.
