"Woo Hoo!" The Simpsons Ride™ is almost here!

This spring, we're adding animated fun and excitement as FOX's blockbuster hit series, The Simpsons, becomes the inspiration for the world's most highly anticipated new theme park ride at Universal Orlando® Resort.

You'll be rocketed along with the Simpson family to experience a side of Springfield previously unexplored as you enjoy the new ride's interpretation of thrill rides, dark rides and "live" shows that make up a new fantasy amusement park dreamed up by the show's cantankerous Krusty the Clown.

Spring doesn't even start until March 21(approx). ROTM was slated for "Spring 2004" and it didn't officially open until May.

"Spring" = BIIIIG window.

I just spent a week looking after my son, who's recovering from knee surgery (torn ACL), and we spent a lot of time watching vintage Simpson's episodes on DVD, which of course I justified as much need research for reviewing the Simpson's ride.

We'll be there end of April 23-27th. Hope it's open by then!!

I do remember ROTM had a soft opening, and we rode it A LOT! Many of the effects were not working yet, like the mummys standing up and the fire, but it was still great fun and a cool thing to ride before everyone else.
