New show???

Hi all:

We are heading out and will be there May 22, 2016. Staying at Desert Inn and Suites. We leave on Saturday, May 28. I thought I read where there will be a new show starting Friday, May 27, 2016. Is it Frozen???? Will there be a Fastpass or do you wait in line? That will be our last day and if so I want to make sure that we see it. Thank you.

Yes the new Frozen musical opens on May 27th. I'm sure they will have FP since it is going to be popular, but I don't know if that has been officially announced or not.

They used fastpass for the final weeks of Aladdin at the Hyperion. Speculation was that not only was that to deal with the expected huge demand for the show during its final days but also as a way to test out fastpass for when Frozen starts. Based on recent trends at the resort, I would fully expect fastpass for the Frozen show when it begins, but I agree that I can't remember reading anything official on this yet.

New show how exciting! We are going in August and wasn't sure the show would be open by then. Fingers crossed they get it open in time for your trip!

I never got to see the Aladdin show, so I was disappointed that it closed before my vacation, I am just glad that Frozen should be open though. I do love those songs.

But the Frozen sing-a-long FPs were not disconnected, so it could go either way.
