My guess is that it's a new cast and that they need the time to get the stage set up - props in place, lighting, sound, special effects, etc. There is only so much room on the stage / ship that they probably can't have the Hercules and Twice Charmed sets at the same time. And that the cast will need some time rehersing on the stage, at sea, with all of its possible motion. They might be able to simulate the motion of the ocean (poet, didn't know it ) on their land rehersal stage, but the real deal is going to be different. I imagine that they would prefer to get their sea legs and subsequent stumbles and falls worked out with out the scrutiny of thousands of guests.
You have a very good point with them needing to get use to performing while sailing. It sounds like a fantastic show though & we are anxious to see it in December!
Anyone know if they sell the music on CD to these shows. I'm about finished with my last trip's video. Boy, was finding music a pain. I'm hoping to get some music from the ship this time.
DS will be so dissappointed that Hercules will be going. He loved Morty, and that was gone last time we cruised, but Herc was his fav. I don't think he's going to be too keen on cinderella.
The Bumblesquats? We were looking forward to seeing Herc again. Maybe we will schedule Palo for that night -- don't know if I have any desire to see Bumblesquats! LOL
