I'm so proud to announce that a new show is opening at California Adventure. Here are the details from one of the CM's (my very talented best friend):
The new show is called "Drawn to the Magic," and it will be performed in front of the Animation Building in the Hollywood Backlot area of CA Adventure. It's slated to open Friday, May 7. It's a three-person show (two guys and a girl) -- we all play animators (a Romantic, a Hero, and a Magic Guy) -- and at the end, three characters join us, a princess, a hero and Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer's Apprentice. We sing snippets of a number of songs from Disney animated features, as well as an original song, "Drawn to the Magic." It's about a 13-minute show, and we'll be doing it six times a day, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays to start, then seven days a week once summer begins (June-ish?).
I hope you all can catch it. The talent that Disney gathers together is always excellent and the performers work very very hard. I just wanted to show my support.
