New Shamu Show

Seaworld is making an announcement about the new Shamu Show sometime today via their facebook fan page....

You need a personal facebook page to view Seaworld's fan page. For those without a facebook page of their own, I will post updates about the new show as information becomes available on the page. Like when the new show will start and other details Seaworld may provide.

A picture was posted on the facebook fan page yesterday by Seaworld. It was a pixelated picture of what looks to be the shows new logo. From the picture, the new Shamu show will be called "One Ocean"

I can't wait to hear what the new show is going to be.

It's very exciting, I think it is sensible of SW to move on from the events of the past year, while we will always remember Dawn we cannot let the tragedy cloud the future of the shows.

- New Show called "One Ocean"

- Will feature more of an educational factor with the whales performing behaviors in unison instead of individually.

-Show will open in Orlando in late April (Probably the last week of April.)
-Show will open in San Diego memorial day weekend in May.
-Show will open in San Antonio sometime in June.

-Trainers will not be in the water when the show starts. However, the show has been designed so that waterwork can be returned in the show in the future and will only make the show better if waterwork resumes.

- Tilly should be back in the new show. Thats why the new set is being designed for trainer safety, so they can work with him.

I just hope the environmental message they seem to be going for doesn't get too preachy.
