new servers?

Am I the only one having very very slow load times? I can click on a subject adn go get a glass of tea while it is loading someof the time I can get back and it is still trying to load.

Mine's been doing that off and on all day, too. It'll be really fast for a while and then slow way down for a while.

I just read the whole "Entertainment" section in our newspaper waiting for this page to post...

I've been getting 'database error' all day when trying to connect and if I do connect it takes almost 5 minutes to load a page.

I'm sure this is just some of the pains of switching servers and things will get better shortly.

All I could think is that they are tweaking some of their settings. When I was on earlier today, the boards were super fast! I was very impressed.

Later, they went slower than . . . fill in your own visual here!

Even later, they began acting schizophrenic.

I think it is going to take the powers-that-be a little time to figure out all the areas that need attention.

But I will say this: when it was running fast, WOO HOO! That puppy really ran well.

Let's hope it's back soon.

I seem to be able to post fairly fast but waiting for the actual board to load is a bit slow.

Never mind that took a while to post too.

mine has been fast then really slow. is everyone getting email notices about updates to threads. I have not gotten an email since last night. I hate it. It is driving me crazy. I emailed tech but no answer yet.
I have no idea what threads have responses that i go to.

The boards were lightning fast for me this morning. But since then mostly very very slow. I went downstairs to get some water while waiting to be able to post this.

I have also not received any email notifications since last night. I never knew how much I would miss that.

I am sure the Dis team is working hard on the server migration. It may take a few days for all to be running properly I am sure. With a little patience, i think that we will be alright and the boards will be better than ever!

Me too. For a little bit there, I couldn't even get into the board at all. Seems okay now! (crossing fingers!)
