If I’m in the room, the extra security lock is on the door (the equivalent of the top deadbolt, the chain, or the door catch) - so, if someone tries to enter my room while I’m changing clothes, taking a shower or even having sex, they can’t get in. It’s as simple as that.
If your child naps every day on a semi-regular schedule, then let Mousekeeping know that you’ll be in the room with a sleeping child from x-x. You can leave a note, hit the button on the phone if you don’t think they’ve been by, etc.
For whatever reason they’ve decided to suddenly implement this - be it Vegas or dogs or whatever - it’s obviously important enough to make the change abruptly.
If you don’t like it, the cool thing is now you can get the same on-site perks without the daily room visit at a cheaper Good Neighbor Hotel.
