Yeah on Wed!! I did start feeling better myself yesterday, so that was a plus. Jeff is still a bit stuffy nosed, but that virus/102 fever thing seems to be what he had. At least the rest seemed to have missed it.

Heroes on Monday night..... What a good way to start the week! Now I have to find time to watch the other 2 shows online.... free time...what a hoot!

T, I'd love to paint. Your house my house...whatever. But maybe I can help after the big garage sale 10/4. We are trying to help a family who has a 1 year old that needs a liver transplant. She just made the 14 lb weight and they told her parents she probably wouldn't make it to 1 year. Thanksfully she is a fighter and we are having a huge sale with allthe proceeds going to help her parents pay their part of the bill. Any donations, anyone? Want to stop by and check it all out? If you wish ot offer prayers her name is Maggie. I will post her website when I get it copied tonight.

Happy Thursday to ALL - anyone else have a Nor'easter blowing thru today? Kind of weird for these parts....SO SO glad we had the 2 dead trees in our yard dropped last week! (Ofcourse, now a healthy one will fall..... )

ps - thanks for the thoughts all - little cub is over the high fever and back in kindergarten - that child school!!!! He is so happy.

Yes, we are supposed to get quite a bit of rain and wind here starting this afternoon...looks like it will be worse down your way, but they are predicting some pretty strong winds...I guess that means it's time to put away all thwe patio furniture until next year

Happy Thursday all! I am back at work again, after being in PA and NJ for 5 days. We had a good time, got to see quite a few sights as well as attending the food show I went out for. Also got to meet Kelly and BD
which was great. We are exhausted, as you might expect, since we took the train into Philly again on Tuesday afternoon and walked down from Market & 12th down to South Street, had some yummy cheese steaks at Jim's and Irish Ice @ Auntie Annes, then walked all the way back to the train station. Followed by yesterday's airplane day...we're ready for the weekend...

Loved the boa & yeah, we have got the rain here. Real glad it isn't that cold, or it would be miserable! They even had schools close here & others on a 2 hour delay.

It's hot and dry here, and I have a cold. I wish it was cold and rainy so I could snuggle down in bed. Instead, I'm sitting here sweating profusely.
We rented a uhaul this morning and are moving DS' stuff to school.
Did I tell you all his residence hall is a hotel? It used to be a Holiday Inn until the university bought it. They have a pool and spa and twice weekly maid service. I want to live there!

The cunbs and I were just talking about where to take a 4 day trip we may try to take next month (the have a mon and tues off - so we have a 4 day weekend...) Plilly was one of the places we thought about - Ive never been - wonder if there's enough to do there for a long weekend though? (In the downtown area - we'd take the train and not have a car.) Hope you have a very relaxing weekend!
