Hi! I am just starting with scrapping, and my first real book will be our Disney trip! I LoVe to stamp (my SU rep payed a few months on the mortgage, thanks to yours truly!). A few questions: I want to purchase Disney piecings, where is the best place? Ebay has some, but wondering if a store would have them? Also, does WDW still sell the scrapping stuff or should I grab it off ebay too? Is that worth the $$?

Thanks!
Karen

Welcome to the world of scrapbooking. While I can't help with e-bay items, never check them out. I do know their is so much out there when it comes to scrapping Disney. There are tons of stamps, stickers, die-cuts and papers with Disney theme's to them. Use those 40-50% off coupons and look for sales.

We recently took a trip to Italy. For 6 months I searched the web and stores for items I could use. Asked questions on what would be the best paper to use.

I also took an 8 week class in scrap booking. I had purchased most of my supplies by the time the class started. With the help of so many, my wonderful instructor, my fellow scrappers at class, the Dis and a few other web sites, I have put together an album that I am very proud of.

Look around and if you think it's something you are going to use, and the price is right, purchase it.

Mouse Memories.com has a huge selection. I am an avid scrapper and Disney is my favorite thing to scrap. If you have any good scrapping stores in your area they will probably have disney items. But the website above is really very good.:wave2:

As for the scrapbook supplies at Disney -
well I found better at www.mousememories.com
and my local Michaels! Creative memories has same nice 'packs' out too that have die cuts, sticker, and ideas!

If you go to www.twopeasinabucket.com and do a search for DISNEY you will find a million layout ideas that you can do yourself!

I won't order from TwoPeasInABucket anymore. They sent me a large damaged order (albums) and then ignored my e-mails. It took months of threats to finally get a response from them.
Another good website for layouts that you can actually buy is paperwiz.com.

Good luck with your book. My first scrapbook was a Disney book. I recommend the creative memories Disney Pack. It has a great Die cut of the word Disney I used on my title page. Also michaels has great books of Disney paper. Have fun and enjoy.:wave2:

EK Success is coming out with a new line of Disney stuff... its kinda like their Jolee line... maybe even an extension of it. I can't wait for that. I do like the stuff sold at Disney, maybe because it's not available any place else. I also prefer the Sandylion line compared to the CM line because their embellishments are bigger. Ebay is a great place to look for paper piecings. Another idea is to get Disney coloring books and make your own paper piecings.

I would also second the idea of checking out 2peas. You don't need to order to browse through their gallery. There is some GREAT talent over there!!
