Can't speak for why you're awake but I'm awake because I have my days and nights mixed up again. I've always been a night owl and usually I try to keep on track but the last few days ... or is that nights?

I have no problem with someone deleting the first post in a thread BEFORE anyone has responded. We all have second thoughts from time to time.

But I think once someone has responded, it's fair game, and it shows a lack of maturity to go back and delete it. Either defend your position, apologize and admit you might have been mistaken, or admit the validity of another POV, even if you don't agree. But don't just run away.

Sorry, I don't agree. It's not always just a case of defending your position. I'm guessing that some of these people may be referring to a recent thread of mine, so I can give my perspective. If you post a SIMPLE question and end up getting criticized for asking that question, I don't think you should be forced to waste your time going back and forth with people who are posting ONLY to cause trouble. Sometimes it's better to just delete it and let it die. It would be more immature to argue with some of these people when it's not something that is worth arguing about.

You actually WANT people to know you have a poo obsession??

The first person to reply on any thread needs to quote the OP. That way when someone does the delete of nevermind edit we know what was there.

I was about to start a "Hey, Tag Fairy! It wasn't me!" thread...but I thought I'd look here first. Good thing I did.
