If you are not debt free, and you owe money to anyone, then you are hereby not allowed to go on a vacation, even if it is gifted. You can't buy pets, since you can't obviously afford them. You may only shop at thrift stores or garage sales for your kids and family, you may not eat out...etc etc etc...
You also can not pay anything out at all. If you can't afford it for cash, that is right CAsh...NO NASTY CREDIT CARDS... then you can't buy anything.
Oh, and since you can't accept trips as gifts, since you can't afford it yourself, then you also can't accept gifts of clothing and toys and other things your fmaily can enjoy, if you can't pay for them yourself that is!!
