I just saw on mousesavers.com that there is now a room-only discount for my dates (Oct 11-19) and I am wondering if anyone can tell me what I would get for a savannah view room at Animal Kingdom Lodge? I am not sure how much the discount is.

Call. I just got POR for a 35% off rate. SOOOOOOOOOOOO happy with that as it's our favorite resort! :cool1:

I just called and got the Poly at 35% off.
If you go to their website and click on the free dining offer there is a link under the grey box that says if a package isn't right for you click here for a room only discount. I then added tickets and the dining package and came up $95 cheaper than doing it with free dining.

I called but Disney said there is no 35% room discount for my travel days of October 10-17. Is there a special code?

not all resorts are available....depends on how many rooms they need filled. What resort are you looking for?

I'm gonna start praying for pixie dust right now! I want a room discount like this for next spring!

The deluxe CL room I want at BWI is seriously discounted! $342 a night in December!

The Disney website has code FSC with a rate of $74 for a standard value, but Mousesavers has code NBH with a rate of $59 for a standard value. Has anybody gotten the $59 rate?

I just looked on Disney's site using the discount and it's 249/nt for Savannah view at AKL

I'm going to answer my own question. :) I just called CRO and they said that the NBH code was for a package. Mousesavers says it is room only. I wasn't able to apply NBH to my room only reservation, but I was able to apply FSC. FSC saved my $104 over the AAA rate. If anybody is able to get the bigger discount with the NBH code on a room only ressie, please let me know, so I can call back and speak to somebody else.

I found the discounts on their site this morning, but had to wait until my lunch hour to try to call and apply the discount to my Dec. POP Century stay. By that point there were no more rooms available at POP for the $59 rate. I transfered my ressie over to ASSports, because it was the only one with that rate still available for my dates. I could have picked Sports or Movies with a preferred room though. I think the rate for preferred rooms was $74 a night for the first week of December.

I would have liked to get a discount on the WL portion of my trip too, but the only discounted rooms they had available were Courtyard bunkbed rooms which was no good for me. I couldn't resist the discount though and moved to the BWI for the second half of my trip for only $244 a night! I'm so excited to get to stay there!

No so Dumbo:
How can you add dining to a room-only discount code?

If you go to the special offers section on the Disney website and select the room discount you can book a package and it will give you the discounted room rate. Then you can add dining to your package. If you mean "free" dining, I don't think you can get both the room discount and dining. You can always call and ask though, I guess.

Well I'm going to quote myself again. From looking at the Disney website, the $59 rate is for Nov 29 - Dec 17. I'm going in Oct when the quoted rate is $74. So think I got the best rate that is currently offerred and I saved $100, so I'm happy!

For the room-only discount, does this promotion have a hard stop at 12/24, or is it similar to Free Dining where if your vacation starts within the offer dates (say, 12/23), they'd let you extend it beyond the 24th?

My initial thought is no....but I've been wrong before!

TIA!

This is exactly what happened to me. I kept insisting with the guy "Mousesavers is never wrong!"

OK, thanks to safetymom, I got the correct room-only code (KHP) and called and... the discount at BoardWalk Inn works out to only 27% off. Harrumph!
