We have standard room in AB (5 on ressie) reserved. We'd be interested in being close to food court and bus stop. In December main pool is less of a priority. Am I correct in thinking 16 or 17 would be best? I assume some of those are water-view, but some are not, right?

During past stays we've been in 15, 16 or 18. All ressies have been standard.

You could essentially request any building in AB. All buildings have water view or courtyard view room categories. Even the buildings with preferred rooms have some non-preferred ones. With a standard category booking, you may face a parking lot or the road, etc.

If you want to be close to the food court, then you want the "preferred room" which are bldgs 14, 15, 18 and 27. If you don't want to pay extra, you can ask for bldg 16 which I think is the closest to the food court next to the preferred bldgs. However, requesting is not a guarantee.

EDIT TO CHANGE: I deleted bldg 17. It is not a preferred location. And added 27 as preferred.
