I made a ride and attraction list in 2003 for my upcoming trip this December. Does anyone know what rides and attractions were added last year and which ones will be starting this year so that I can potentially add them to my must-see list?

Oh, you are in for some fun times!

Last year they opened Stitch Escape in Tomorrowland. It opened on November 16th to much fanfare. That rascal Stitch took over MK and toilet papered the castle and pronounced it his. There were wanted posters all over MK with Stitches picture on it. A great time was had by all!

This year there will be many openings in honor of the 50th Aniversary of Disneyland.

In the Magic Kingdom a new stage show in front of the Castle will debut in May. It is called Cindercellabration.

In Epcot, Soarin' will open in May in the Land Pavillion. This attraction has proved to be one of the most popular in California Adventure, and now we won't have to fly all the way there to experience it. You will be flying in hang gliders over the land of California, including the ocean, beaches, mountains and orange groves. You will even be able to smell the orange groves as you pass over.

In Disney MGM Studios, the new Stunt show will open at the end of the Streets of America. This show was first opened in Disneyland Paris to great excitement. It should prove to be another E ticket experience for the Disney MGM park.

At Typhoon Lagoon, the Slusher Gusher... a Watercoaster with 3 different tracks will open the spring. It is scheduled to be open when the park reopens after the winter rehab. I think this will be a huge addition to an already awesome waterpark! It is the only attraction of its kind in the state of Florida!

In 2006, Animal Kingdom will welcome its new E ticket attraction, Expedition Everest. This will be a coaster ride in Asia themed after Mt Everest and the legend of the Yeti (or as we know him, the Abonible(sp?) Snowman). You will be on a train taking a tour of Mt Everest, but the Yeti see you and chases the train. You will be going up, down, in circles, and even backwards. This is really one of the most adventurous rides that can be found in the Disney parks!

Hope you have a great time!

Thanks for the reply!
Stunt show, Soarin', and Stitch Escape will now be added to the must-see list:)
