OK, I'm a little confused on this. We're headed down in about 8 weeks. All other visits were pretty simple. We're staying again at the Royal Pacific so we have early access. My question is how exactly is the ride going to work. We usually go early to Hogwarts castle and go from there. Now since it's park to park how does the train ride work. Is it at the end of the castle and that ride? Or do you wait in another line after the castle to go on the train. Once to the other park do you get off the train and wait in another line for that ride? Do you have a return ticket or is it another wait to get back. Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Whatever it is we'll deal with it but it would be nice to know how it all works. :confused3

From what I understand the train in IOA is near where the Hogwarts express train was. Kinda near the lost continent area. And then it lets out "outside" the DA area. But I haven't been since last fall, we are scheduled for Sept.

You board the train outside of the Hogsmeade entrance. You take the train and it gets you to London. Once in London, you must go through the entrance to Diagon Alley. Gringotts is a ride in Diagon Alley just like Forbidden Journey is a ride in Hogsmeade.

In addition to what the other posters have said...
Hogwarts express ( train) is a ride. You would wait in line to ride it from IOA to US and if you want to ride it back again you would wait in another line to ride it from US to IOA.
You will wait on a separate line for Gringotts(ride) in Diagon alley, just like you will wait on a separate line at Hogwarts to ride Forbidden Journey(ride).
