New restaurants for Meal deal

Yes there is a limited menu and the childs menu is very limited, 1/2 P&J, 1/2 pizza, tiny burger which is nasty, grilled cheese, cookie and fries. The cookies are GREAT, pre packaged but us adults loved them from the kids, the fries are fries.......the pizza at louies is EXCELLENT, the tiny burger is gross, the grilled cheese is good, the P&B is actually good, triple decker 1/2 sandwich with grapes, its actually a nice break for the kids. To be honest, its a good deal for the kids because you will spend a fortune at these parks to eat, no joke, people in line paying out of pocket were paying 40-50 bucks for lunch for the same stuff on the menu for meal deal, but there are more options if your paying out of pocket but VERY expensive. I would definately do it for the kids and the adults, we didnt do it because to be honest we all ate the kids left overs and the kids kept going up for second entrees, we didnt need to buy it, we ate free breakfast at the hotel and the adults just didnt feel they would want meals for lunch and we had 35 movie meal deal coupons to use for dinner.......the adults had more choices for the meal deal but still a bit limited, keep in mind the prices are RIDICULOUS. Get the sipper cup, its good for the entire trip, free refills, you cannot beat it~!

the menu is limited but we ate at pastamore the first night with the kids, we used movie meal deal coupons, they had the dining plan and its very good, the menu is limited but something for everyone, the meal deal is a good deal since you can eat atacitywalk, trust me, you will pay way more than 22 bucks a day for an adult paying out of pocket.

can you go through the line,, then come back in right away?? (for someone who would like 2 desserts etc) or do they want you to wait a specific time period?? (nooooo I am talking about being honest,, everyone has their own wrist band)
& since there is NO listing about the CW restaurants..... c'mon some of you please tell us what IS available?? where do you get the information about what is at each restaurant so you can make a decision on where you want to eat??
can you ONLY purchase the CW meal deal at the park? do you get some kind of restaurant/food list?

what are movie deal coupons?

the movie meal coupons are from the entertainment books.
you CAN go up in line anytime you want, our kids went in line, 10 minutes after they sat to get something else, no one cared a bit.

they arent really posting it, but if you look back, I copied a response from universal regarding CW restaurants and the meal deal, phanthom is right, trust us, I just came back on the 13th, she is right on all accounts. You can buy the meal deal one day at the park, see if you like it, if not, you don't have to buy for the second day, you can pay out of pocket if the meal deal isn't for you. it is not like disney, you can pay day to day for the meal deal, its offered all over the park, any restaurant that participates in the meal deal, you can buy and get your wrist bands from them! Its not like a "special", its offered all day, every day, no limitations on how many people get the meal deal. You don't have to decide until you get there, which is nice, try it for one day. Get the sipper cup for sure, $8.99 and it allows you to drink your entire stay, refillable for free all day everyday of your trip. Be warned, the prices of the food and drinks are unbelievable! GET THE MEAL DEAL. CW, the menus are limited but the limitations are good! Pastamore is very very good!

Is the meal deal still a good deal when the parks close at 6pm? Are some of the participating restaurants in City Walk?
Thanks!

Lisa, are you sure about the sipper cups?? I thought it said, 7-8.99 per day. Not entire stay. I thought to myself. When I read that, that I will just bring my refillable mugs that i have from my sept trip. But, if the sipper cups are for our entire stay. Which will be 5 days. I may just buy them.

And thank you for telling me about the limited menu. I guess, they are the same limited menu. I encountered, with the movie/meal pass.

I can't understand why the CW dining options are not listed anywhere on the Universal website?? You would think this option would be something they would be advertising all over - I wouldn't buy the meal deal without it. Is there any word about whther it will be offered all year (the CW options), or only during the seasons with shorter park hours? We are going to Universal at the end of June and I am starting to think about where we will eat and working on my budget.
