New restaurant in Mexico

Does anyone have any information about the new restaurant replacing Cantina de San Angel? Any idea when it is opening? I had seen some information on it before - but now can't find it. All I remember is that it is CS at lunch and TS at dinner.

There are 2 restaurants opening in Mexico on (or around) 15 Sept.

Hacienda de San Angel will be the new TS restaurant. This will only be open for dinner. Reservations should start around the same time it opens and will be for dates starting 15 Oct and beyond.

Cantina de San Angel will be reopening in the same building as Hacienda (which is in the same location where Cantina originally was). It will remain a CS location open for both lunch and dinner. For lunch, it will also use part (or all) of the Hacienda dining room for extra seating.

Both restaurants will be located on the site where Cantina originally was and it's speculated that both will open on the same date. Both will also be on the DDP, and in Hacienda's case it will be a "1 TS" restaurant. Neither will affect the existing San Angel Inn which is inside the Mexico pavilion.

I can tell you the building is an eye sore! I don't know why they made it that big, Yuck!

I'm so glad to hear that the CS option is still going to be available at dinnertime. I thought that the CS option was only for lunch, and the TS option was only for dinner. Since I'm one who likes TS at lunchtime, and CS at dinnertime (completely backwards to most people, it seems) this resturaunt would have been out for me. Glad to know it's an option for dinnertime.
