I was just wondering if you needed reservations for the new restaurant or if it was a counter service. Thanks!

From the WDW website ...

Pastas, wood-fired pizzas, scoops of sweet gelato – here’s a first look at the menu for the new Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria at the Epcot Italy pavilion. Opening next month the 300-seat restaurant expands dining choices (our favorite Tutto Italia stays). Created by the Patina Restaurant Group’s CEO Nick Valenti, the menu is based on his travels in Southern Italy and his time developing and overseeing the successful Naples 45 Ristorante e Pizzeria in New York.

It will open in August 2010. From the "rumors", it will be counter service during the day (with a take-out window for brick oven pizza) and sit down in the evening. However, it is NOT currently listed on the WDW website to make evening ADRs or even under dining. So, keep checking online or call 407-WDW-DINE :wizard:

They probably won't be taking ADRs for a while, but it is a table service restaurant and will eventually need ADRs.

UPDATE:

Name of the new restaurant in Italy is called ... Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria

The Disney Parks website has announced that they will start taking ADRs on 8/6/2010 for dates beginning 9/10/10. Link HERE. Until the September "official" opening, they will take walk-ups. :thumbsup2 It is being called a full-service pizzeria with no counter service. Booooooooo! I think that is a BIG mistake. They will be serving lunch and dinner using the same menu.

You can make an ADR online HERE or by calling (407) WDW-DINE. Since it is such a new restaurant, I would call. Who knows when their Techs will get it on their site ... :surfweb:

Good Luck. :wizard:

i seen the drawings but is there any actual pictures yet?

I looked online and all I can find is the artist rendering that is on the WDW website ...

This is probably the same one you've seen. I don't think Disney wants to release on official picture until it is completed.

Maybe, some fellow DISers will come back from Epcot and post some pictures? :rolleyes1
