New Restaurant Coming To Vero

I was just reading an article that mentions a new restaurant that is coming to Vero. It is going to replace the restaurant currently in the Holiday Inn (across the parking lot from the Ocean Grill, also on the water). It's called Mulligan's Neighborhood Grill and is set to open in September. It's described by the owners as "Appleby's by the Sea". They have other restaurants in Jensen Beach, Pompano and Ft. Lauderdale. Anyone familiar with them? It sounds like it could be interesting. Hopefully, we'll get some reports here.

The article itself was about the Ocean Grill's concern about parking once the restaurant opens. In the winter months, the parking lot there is already always full. Ocean Grill does have a 90 space lot of its own.

DH and I actually kind of liked the restaurant in the Holiday Inn. Nothing flashy, but good.

"Applebee's by the Sea" hmmm...I can't stand Applebee's so who knows.

Looking forward to reports from anyone who eats there.

There are a couple down at our beaches; (1) in Ocean City, MD
and (1) outside of Rehobeth Beach along the highway. We have never tried either, but by the outside, I agree that it looks along the lines of an Applebee's (burgers, etc.) Natt
