What do you think the new Quick Service Restaurant at Fort Wilderness will be like?

I envision it having a similar atmosphere as Roaring Fork at Wilderness Lodge.

We haven't been there since the remodel, but we've watched several YouTube videos of the new Quick Serve redesign. I can't tell you...we hate the concept. As FL residents, we'd stay at FW at least 3 times per year. We'd eat a majority of our meals at Trails End and loved the buffet setup. The limited choice of pre-packaged meals they now offer do not look all that appealing. I know this was done to make it easier and cheaper for WDW, but it's suppose to be about the guests who are dropping thousands of dollars to be there. Stats show that WDW attendance is in rapid decline due to a number of factors. From pushing social agendas to raising prices across the board. The average cost of a WDW 5 day vacation for a family of 4 is $6,033. They are now charging for amenities that were once free. The magic is gone.

You might ask on the camping forum we've discussed it a lot and the opinions seem to be split. I'm in the hate it camp. The Trail's End buffet was this best kept secret on property. This just seems too industrial and the restaurant has lost its lure.
