New resort?

When we were last down in 2001 they were talking about a new budget resort that was in the stages of being built. It was going to be huge and themed around the last century. But that's all I can remember.... is it open yet and what is it called?

Its called Pop Century and last I heard CRO was stating it would be open sometime in 2003.....they stopped working after 9/11 and I believe they are working on it again now. Honestly, with Disney, who knows when it will open. Anyone remember Test Track?

The article in the Disney Magazine Fall 2002 stated "no opening date available at press time"

They are working on it...it looks great from the road...the turn all the lights on at night...very cute.

they complain about budget problems but leave lights on at a empty construction site?? Oh now that makes sense.

They probably turn the lights on for security reasons, as well as to remind guests that it may be an option for them at some (later) date.

I heard that it may be open at late 2003 or 2004.
