New Resort

My wife and I are seriously considering DVC, but we have several questions. First, we have heard about a price increase coming up, when is it? what will the new price per point be?

Secondly, I saw a press release that a new resort would be built near the Yacht Club. Can you currently join and make that your home resort? If not, does anyone know when that property would be open for purchase.

The Beach Club Villas are currently under construction. They are scheduled for a Fall, 2002 opening. Until they are declared into DVC (and there is no guarantee that will happen), there is no other information available.
There was just a price increase on Jan 14 to the current $72 per point. No other increases have been announced or suggested. (Just speculation on this board.)
