New resort shows on now!!

I just turned on travel channel and there showing Disney hotels right now theres a show on called great hotels and it features the grand Floridian. Each show is a hlf hr long and features a Disney hotel. Next up is Animal kingdom lodge and then the wilderness lodge. All these shows are starting now and for the rest of today its all about Disney on the travel channel Enjoy everyone

FYI, these shows are several years old, although everything as far as I know is still current. I didn't realize how old they are - they are listed as 2002.

Before the Wilderness Lodge should be one on the Yacht and Beach Clubs. That's where we first learned of Art the Greeter at the Beach Club, so we mad sure to see him when we were there in July. And when I told DD#1 we saw him (it was just me and DW this trip), she asked me to ask if he still had the pin Samantha traded with him on the show.

Art was honored that DD would have asked, as he is the most humble and nice guy at Disney. Of course he no longer had the pin (he said it was a typical Mickey pin), and we promised to bring DD to meet him in December.

Thanks for the heads up. I love watching those shows on the resorts - even if I know I've already seen them. I do plan on staying the AKL Villas sometime soon so its nice to see the nooks and crannies of AKL, not to mention getting to see my favorite WL is all its splendor.

They do update these shows. I was watching some of the theme park shows that the guide said 2002 but they talked about Mission Space. So some one at the travel channel is updating some of the shows.

Yes, the theme park shows have been updated this year with a few new segments (and they are airing later), but I believe the Great Hotels shows have not been changed.

I don't see them being shown again in the next 10 days, but they do re-air them on occasion - just keep an eye out for them.
