New reserved location for Main Street Electrical Parade **now with Festival of Fantasy page 5 #99**

My guess is that they are packing the evening parade with a lunch at Tony's so that participants/victims will have sufficient time to eat, get sick, and then recover in time for the parade. If they tried to package this with dinner at Tony's, many people would end up missing the parade.

Silly question but...

Is Tony's really so bad? I'd been thinking about trying it on our next trip, since it's the only Magic Kingdom restaurant we haven't eaten at yet. I was thinking the Lady and the Tramp-ish theme might appeal, and we do like our Americanized Italian food. (We like the real thing, too, we're just not terribly fussy where our food is concerned.)

Not surprising once they took away the FP for the parade (which they shouldn't have had anyway).

There will soon be a dining or dessert package for everything at WDW.

Get a 4th FP with a dining package at XXXXXXXXXXXX.

Get exclusive access to a certain M&G with a dining package.

Etc. etc. etc

Personally no it isn't as bad as many make it out to seem. It isn't the best but I've never had a down right terrible or even bad meal there. It was just okay. The theme is lovely though. Service is hit or miss. I've never gotten sick from here either.

Probably the worst restaurant in Disney if not all of Orlando. Please watch the dining review from the DIS team, it's hilarious.

I've been there several times over the last 5-6 years - IMO, it's not inedible, but it's somewhere between a Stouffer's frozen dinner and a mediocre Olive Garden. For the price, not worth it.

We've eaten there a number of times. Always a reasonably good lunch or dinner. Not terrible, not outstanding.

With tax and tip, the cost is about $57 (20% tip)

By far the worst meal we have had at any WDW restaurant that still survives. Nothing is even a close second place. Absolutely embarrassing frozen dinner style food with awful plating to boot. (Just look at the picture on Kenny's website that is linked). Unsauced pasta with a spoonfull of sauce lazily ladled on top, with an almost undetectable amount of cheese rationed on top of the meatballs. For $45? Seriously? I mean really! I expect hospital food to look better than this:

Thought of another.

They'll remove Fast Passes from shows (that shouldn't really have a FP to begin with) (like Festival of the Lion King, Indiana Jones, Beauty and the Beast) and just sell dining packages to get premium seating for those. I mean they already do it for Fantasmic, Wishes, and Rivers of Light (err .. Jungle Book).

If they don't limit the menu, notwithstanding the quality of food, it's a decent value. The Caesar Salad, New York Strip and an $8. dessert add up to $52. even before adding a non-alcoholic drink.

I have never eaten there, but I have heard good things about the Shrimp Scampi. I MIGHT consider this package for my December trip. BUT, I hate to encourage them to keep this upcharging. :crazy2:

Our experience there wasn't just about mediocre food. It was just a bad experience overall, from the minute we checked in until the minute we walked out. Of all the meals we've ever eaten in Disney, I resented paying this bill the most upon leaving. I read the reviews carefully and went into the reservation with a very open mind. I love Lady and the Tramp, so in my mind, that made it worth trying right there. I was another one who kept thinking how bad can it really be? I won't bore you with the details, but bottom line is, it was the worst service we've ever gotten at a Disney restaurant. Every CM seemed to be miserable and wasn't afraid to show it. We felt like we were imposing at every turn. I can tolerate mediocre (at best) food with a smile, but definitely not with horrible service. I realize that every restaurant has it's off days, but... Definitely a one and done for us. It's a shame~ it's a great location and theme, and it could be a real gem with some good food and great service. Doesn't sound like they have to change anything... just add a desirable package and it will fill up no matter what.

It's the only restaurant in all of WDW that DH refuses to go to (third time evidently NOT expected to be s charm). The theming is practically undetectable to me, and we've had bad service to boot.

It has been some time since I was at this restaurant. I enjoyed the food, but the quality didn't match the price point. I assume that is still the case. Lucky for me this doesn't interest me at all. I can see it being useful if I had young kids to help keep me from having to hold spot for the parade.
