New Reservation Policy

I have the pleasure of calling AKV, BWV and SSR home! I have a reservation for a Sun-Wed in a 2BDR at AKV, but did not have enough AKV points at the 11 month window to complete my reservation. I want to eventually book Sat-Sat.

Will I be able to add on Sat, Thurs, Fri to my reservation on the Saturday check in date when I reach the 7 month window? Or will I have to book Saturday and then wait until the Wednesday check in date to finish the reservation?

If when you call at 7 months from the check in for Sat, Sat- Fri is available, you will be able to book all 7 nights by cancelling your Sun-Wed reservation if needed to free up the points.

If Sun-Wed are not then available, it is not clear at this time whether you can connect dates following your existing home resort reservation. Because your Sun-Wed reservation has a different reservation number, MS may treat it the same as a different reservation at another resort. If so, then you will not be able to book Thur & Fri nights until 7 months out from Thur.

However, MS may be able to override the different reservation number issue and book those nights for you. I don't recall anyone yet reporting how this specific issue is handled under the new reservation system.

Just out of curiosity, how can you call all 3 home? Did you buy 160 points at each when each of them opened? If you already own 160 at a resort and a new one opens (asking this for when CR opens) how many points do you have to buy at the new resort to consider it "home"? What is the minimum? Thanks in advance.
