"What exactly do they do?
I know you all say you have had great room stewards, but what exactly do they do? Do you all clean your rooms up before you go out for the day or if you leave it a mess do they move your stuff around and clean up after you? I just was wondering how this job works? What things have they done for you besides the animal towels or REAS pkg and such?
Oooops...sorry, posted on wrong board! I don't know how to move it!"
The room steward essentially takes care of you all week. He/She will make your bed, clean your bathroom, replace your towels, soap, shampoo, etc. They will clean your room up for you. They will fold left out clothes, organize your toiletries, tidy up the desk. They turn your beds down at night and pull out the beds for the kids. They will bring you extra pillows, blankets, hangers, etc. Most make towel animals and use some of your stuff to go wtih the animals some night. Such as put your sunglasses on them or use your child's stuffed animals and make a little "scene". If you want ice they will keep it filled all week for you. They come in the morning and the evening. They are usually pretty good about doing your room while you are not in it. Not sure how they do that, as I went back a couple times shortly after we left and never saw Richie in there. He was great. Our steward was great and certainly earned his money.
Chocolates, don't forget they give you chocolate at night...
