New Question on current incentive

(Why my friend won't register and post I don't know... I know she's reading my posts! )

Anyway, she is leaning towards taking the incentive. I have told her to waitlist for 08 points since I think the incentive is good for a while. (Any idea how long?)

Her question. Has anyone actually received the Gift Card and how long did it take?

She has a trip planned in early Oct and one of the thoughts is to use the gift card for the AP.

The current deal is good thru Sept 20th.

I would recommend waitlisting as well. I went on the WL for June 08 points on Thursday afternoon and when I checked my account a new contract with the '08 points is already listed!!!

As for the gift card, it states that you will receive it approximately 30 days after closing so depending on when her trip is in early OCT she might be pushing it to use it for the AP. I wouldn't count on it coming in time (but it would be an added bonus if it did.)

Instead of having the gift card mailed, maybe your friend's guide could arrange for her to pick up the gift card at the Sales Center when she arrives for her October trip.

Wouldn't hurt to ask if she really wants to use it to buy an AP or PAP for her October trip. She'll probably want (need) to go to the Sales Center anyway to pick up her temporary member card (to show for the member perks and discounts).
