As a pin collector, I was glad to have gotten the 500 credits and pin. Sure, 1000 credits is nice, but I like my pin

OK I figured it out. If you completed the quest yesterday BEFORE vmk closed for maintenance then you can do it again today. If your character was in the middle of quest at the time vmk closed or if you did it after that then you're out of luck.

My others who finished before the "close" were able to get more credits today.

I disagree. I was (I'm pretty sure) in the middle of the quest at the time VMK closed for a few minutes for maintenance yesterday. After that I was able to finish it just fine. It wasn't until a while after that that they stopped the quest and changed it, apparently several times. However, since I completed the quest before they changed it, I was able to do the quest today and get the credits.

I feel bad for the people that did the quest after all the canceling, only
to get 500 credits and a pin, no more than that. I was lucky and was
able to do the quest three times, but not everyone could do that.

VMK should have reset the quest today to let some of the unlucky players
get more credits. Or me. Hehe.

I think the President's Day Quest pin was supposed to be an exclusive item for President's Day only so they changed the prize afterwards. I think I would rather have more credits, since they're probably still releasing more magic later on...

This is what i find is weird...
It says you could win 1000 credits, well i wish vmk would of let us know that yesterday. It also says fireworks magic is required, but if the questions are the same as yesterday...this is messed up.

There were a couple different versions of the quest on Presidents' Day. If you did the final version -- which included visits to the Pirate's Dock, Gator Waiter, and Castle Forecourt, and got rid of the Fireworks Magic Finale -- then this is the same quest (albeit with a different prize).

If, however, you did an earlier version of the Presidents' Day quest -- like the one that caused a huge traffic jam in the Mark Twain -- then this quest is "new" and you can do it for the first time.

Since half my guys had done an earlier version on Prez-Day, they were able to do this new Q-button quest. The others did the final version of the quest on Prez-Day, and so were told that they had already completed this one.

Not a glitch. My daughter did the quest today cuz she didn't get to do it yesterday. She didn't get a President's pin, but she got 1000 credits.

But they didn't change the note that you need Fireworks magic. You did need it for the original version, but not this version of the quest.

Well !! thanks for all the answers,i understand about the pin etc,but i think what they should have done ,was to give out 500 credits on the newer quest,so all those that did it first time around would not feel seen off.This would have been so much fairer.

Nope, not a mistake. That was intentional. I was able to do it on all 42 of my "others".

I would not worry about many doing it multiple times when it would take up to 47 minutes to complete do to back ups at Mark Twain 70 + or main street 40+ and then when you got to Main street could not move because of Severe lag.

So not many did it multiple times. Took me all day to get mine through what normally would take Hour and hallf at tops.

It is still going on i am pretty sure. It is going on until Sunday the 24th or that is atleast what is says on vmk.
