By now you already know that celebrating with Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings is the perfect way to begin your happily-ever-after. And now, we are giving you one extra reason to celebrate with us in 2010. Simply call and book your Wishes event between now and April 15, 2010 and receive a Disney honeymoon on us! This offer includes 2 complimentary room nights* at any Disney Owned and Operated Resort for you to enjoy. This is the perfect way to start your new life together and experience the magic of Disney Parks.

Offer based on availability of Event location and Hotel Occupancy. Honeymoon offer does not include food or beverage at the Walt Disney World® Resort or Disneyland® Resort. Must sign a standard Wishes contract prior to April 15, 2010, and host your Wishes event before December 15, 2010. Cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts. Not applicable to previously contracted business. Value of the offer is not transferrable, refundable or redeemable for credit to the final master account of your Wedding or cash back to the contracting organization or person.

*Complimentary room night included in contract with room night minimum is in addition to these two (2) room nights. Complimentary room nights can be used 30 days prior to Wedding date and are valid up to one year from this date.

Hope this help Brides or soon to be Disney brides who are signing contracts soon!

didn't the wishes package already come with a free night?

It does, provided you meet the 25 room block night minimum. The promotion is two additional nights, which works perfect for DF and I, since all of our guests are booking rooms using DVC and DVC rooms don't count toward the 25 room guarantee for the free night.

I thought I read somewhere that they can count as long as they are booked under the room block :confused3

I believe this is in additin to the free night that u get only if you meet the 25 night minimum. These are given regardless just for signing the contract.

I am pretty certain that, if set up through the room block, rooms booked using DVC points count towards your 25 night total for your free night :thumbsup2

What a bummer that the wedding has to be held before December 15. think I'll be signing my contract in the time frame, but my wedding's not until March 2011... :sad2:

Oh well, easy come easy go..

Hmm, really? That would be wonderful! I checked with Bill a few weeks ago about it and he told me that they didn't count, but I'm definitely going to check again! I would love an extra night! :cool1:

I always thought DVC was included as long as the DVC resorts were included in your room block.

Just a quick question when did this promotion start? I just signed my contract on 1/25... did i make it in?

I'm pretty sure you did. Bill told me about the promotion when we "penciled in" our date, and that was back in the beginning of January. You should be set! :)

I had my room block all over the place and I was confirmed that our DVC reservations counted towards our block. We had room blocks at the Contemporary, GF, VWL, ASM and POR. However, we had one family choose to stay at the Boardwalk and we just gave their reservation number to the secretary so they could input the info into my required nights.

Having the confirmation of DVC counting towards our room block is what solidfied DH and I's decision to join DVC in the first place. We reserved two 2 bedroom villas the night before the wedding so the entire bridal party could sleep over so we could all get ready together in the early morning. The value of that alone made our purchase a great value.

It's important to note that your guests can take advantage of any discounted offer that Disney is offering as well, and not just your room block (don't know if they changed that policy). I had other guests get packages and I just submitted their res #s in separately. That all counted towards my block. My mom eventually went to pop century during the buy 5, get 7 and her week counted towards my block.

Hope this helps!

I think it started at the beginning of January. Call your contact at DFTW and ask :)

I have done the calculations and this doesn't work for me (were planning an early morning escape), if you want a dessert party in the evening can you still book under this offer I wonder?

Anything you do for your wedding on the actual day counts towards your minimum so a DP that night would count.

The policy is changed so that if your guests book outside the room block using another discount, their rooms will only apply toward your overall room guarantee but *not* toward the free night. Theoretically, you could meet your guarantee of 25 nights and still not get a free one. :sad1:

Yup. I just checked with our contact person again and this is what they told me :sad2:
