New Prize Pin from Sword in the Stone Magic

I must have ridden about 30 times today and have not gotten not even one pin. I've never had such a dry spell

200 Rides, 19 Magic Swords and no Tea Party pins. If it wasn't for a lucky trade w/the Great Gigi I'd still be without my Tea Party.

>sigh<

I guess I'm back to the rides for the Casey Jr.... Hopefully I'll have better luck with that.

4000 credits later and still no tea party pin, I am completely drained. I don't even have mind to try.

I love those pins, in fact they have been my favorite... which is saying a LOT, because I don't even like pins all that much. I could care less about the Jolly Roger, or Mighty Eye, or Stitch Pin, or Tomorroland 8/9. But this one pin that I actually LIKE... I can't attain. I really, really don't like to trade and definitely don't have the capacity to fufill the asking price for the pin... especially now that it's not the current prize.

I hate to complain, but this just gets to me.

It's like the Sparrow trauma. :sad2:

Yes, it is too bad. I rode and rode and got six total magic pins and no teacup pin at all. It is my favorite, I think, of all the pins. Oh well. Sorry to complain, but I did think I would have the rest of the month to try. (sniff)

Hmmm, I guess I'll have to decide what that second tea cup is worth!;)

Sooooooo excited about Casey though. Love that ride!!

I am so mad!! After riding almost all day I got 7 pins and as I got a few I used them. So at the end of the night I had 2 left so I went to go use them. The room I was in someone had just pulled out the sword so I figured I would not get it. So I went into another room and there were a few people around it so I stood there waiting and this kid with a ton of them starts pulling them. Well he does like 2 or 3 and then I am like to myself I want to try so I do it and I guess he still had a little pull on it and it wouldnt let me do it. And guess what happens next he uses his sword and pulls it out!! That was totally my turn and I should have won!! GOSH!!

What the...? Making the Tea Party pin available for less than a month? What sense does that make? Do they want to have another "Mighty Eye" type pin or two floating around? Let's see how long this Casey Jr. pin stays around.

Yeah, not getting Mighty Eye make Cardinal crazy. No get Tea Cups make Cardinal crazy. :headache:

I rode on pc for a few hours while I played Civilization on my other pc. All I did was ride (sorry everyone who messaged, but now you know I wasnt paying attention) I only got 1 pin... and of course no casey LOL. I think they may have made the odds even lower, or just an unlucky day. guess we shall see @_@

I don't think it works that way. I think whether you get the prize or not is built right into the code of the pin you are wearing. So it really doesn't matter what other ppl are getting...

I could be wrong though :rolleyes1

I know I'm going to sound like a total bonehead for asking this, but where and how do you get the particular pin you are talking about in this thread?

its the prize that can be won using the sword in stone magic now. IF you are very very lucky LOL.

You don't sound like a bonehead at all. The pin comes from using the sword in the stone magic pin in Fantasyland Courtyard. You get the magic pin by riding the two new dark rides - Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan's Flight. You have to pay credits each time you ride and there is a chance that you may win the sword in the stone magic pin. The magic pin sometimes gives you nothing at all and sometimes gives you a prize, which is now the Casey Jr. pin.

hope this helps. :thumbsup2

You go to Fantasyland Courtyard and ride either Peter Pan or Alice in Wonderland. It costs 10 credits per ride. After completing your ride you might get a Sword in the Stone magic pin. If you get the magic and you are able to pull the Sword out of the stone you will get the pin.

It's also explained on the current VMK Newsletter. Click below.

Ah, thanks guys :) I've only been on those rides a couple times on the site. I didn't know you could get magic from them. Well, I guess I'll be riding them a couple *hundred* more times now. Thanks again for the explanation :)

I think my player is jinxed on the Dark Rides!! When ever I go through I never get a magic pin. But then my mom goes through with her player and pops out magic pins left and right... If it wasn't for her getting two of the Tea Cup pins. I would still be out try to get magic pins.
But now that I hear there's a different pin, it's back to the Dark Rides for me :sad2:

OMG I need to get riding those rides!
I managed to get the teacup pin really quickly (very lucky, if only it was that easy to get sparrow! lol) but it take me several rides to get one magic pin now! oh well...

Woot Laura Bearz!
You made pulling the sword out of that stone look so easy.
 Congratulations on your new pin.
