Just curious if anyone has been to the new princess breakfast at Epcot. How was the food both in selection and quality? Service? Interaction with characters?

We were there on 8/20. The food was very good and it came to our table hot (not just warm) We had eggs, potatoes, breakfast meats, fruits and pastries. The food was better than at CRT. But we did miss the French Toast that's at CRT.

The charactesrs that were there that day were, Belle, Jasmine, Mary Poppins and Snow White. There was alot of interaction time and they even carried on conversations with mom and dad.

The service was great. Our server's name was Knut and he was from Norway. He was very friendly and attentive.

Definitely try to get this breakfast.....

Thanks for the description Zoo Keeper. I've been curious about this princess meal :)

We were just there this past Saturday!

It was a wonderful character meal. The food was hot, yummy, and plentiful!

The characters were Snow White, Aurora, Mary Poppins, Belle, and Jasmine.

I hope they still have this breakfast when we return in June, both my girls had a great time :)

I'm so glad to hear the reviews on the new character breakfast! We'll most definitely be trying for that next time 'round. I hate to admit this, but we were a bit disappointed with Cindy's after all we went thru to get a seating! :o

1) yes, we went August 12th
2)food: we had fresh fruit, fresh orange juice, sweet rolls, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cheddar cheese potatos, and french toast. Our eggs were cooked to hard for our taste, but you can always request them to be cooked softer. We thought that the quality of the food was outstanding, and selection was very good!
3) the service was outstanding.. never wanted for anything! Even management was clearing tables, so empty plates never sat for too long. We had a wonderful Norweigan server whose name was Knut. He was great... very attentive, and great with DD!
4) Character interactions was fantastic. There were 5 characters that day, including Snow White, Aurora, Mary Poppins, Belle and Jasmine. All were perfect for their roles, but Snow White and Jasmine were outstanding! They made their way around the castle, starting in the front right, as you look from the back of the dining room. We liked sitting more in the middle, that way DD had the opportunity to eat before they got to our table. They were staggered, so they didn't bottleneck at tables. They spent an appropriate amount of time with each table, signing autographs, posing for pictures and making small talk. They only really had time to make it around once, though... the dining room is really large.
5) I cannot say enough about the setting. The interior was like a medeval castle... I have visited many in England and Scotland, and it was very similar. Very beautiful setting!
6) Value: priceless!

BTW, the Storybook Princess breakfast is now a permanent feature of Epcot!

Hi, My children are not early risers, so we never seem to do any of the charater breakfasts. But I would really like to try this one since we will be staying at the Boardwalk and getting to Epcot is a breeze from there.
So if someone could please tell me the time of the breakfast and what is the last seating time.

Minnie Mouse - I'm not sure how late you can be seated but I have a 10:10 ps for this breakfast and can hardly wait. I'm glad to see some positive reviews. I had actually considered canceling this breakfast but I think we'll keep it and form our own opinion. I absolutely love Mary Poppins and can't wait to see her - I just hope she is at our breakfast.

We were there on 9-2 and loved it! We were at the BWI so it was nice to get up a little late and stroll on over. I was worried about how the kids would like it, but they thought the food was a little better than CRT which we had done on 8-31. They also enjoyed being in the "country castle" DS assumed that's were Snow White lived with the 7 dwarfs (Snow White is his favorite). Jasmine, Aurora, Snow White, Mary Poppins, and Belle were there.

DS was celebrating a B-Day and they told him Happy Birthday as soon as we told them our name. It was a nice experience all around.

Great, thanks for the reviews. I have 9am ressies on Thanksgiving morning. I am SO looking forward to the breakfast.

They seat from 8:30 til 9:00, and then from 9:45 until 11. I would definitely try for the earlier seating though! Towards the end of the 2nd, it feels a little rushed, as the characters are due in the WS at 11:30

My daugther and I ate at the Princess Breakfast on 8/18 and my thoughts about the food (quality, that is) are contrary to those of the other respondents.

Food quantity: very good (preplated but they bring as much as you would like)
Service: very good
Character interaction: very good
Food quality--Poor. The best part of the food was the fresh fruit (cantelope and strawberries during our dining experience). If you don't care for the quality of food at the Cinderella breakfast (which I don't); then you probably won't care for this food either.

However, I approach character meals as being more about the overall experience and character interaction than about the food.

I guess I didn't realize that it was a pre-plated meal. I think that was what I disliked most about CRT.

Does anyone recall the price?

AKA Snowhite

My apologies....I provided misinformation about the presentation of the food. As my daughter reminded me, the food is not preplated. The waitstaff brings out a serving dish containing the food. You then put the food on the plate. The caliber of the food is like that of the Cinderella breakfast--however the EPCOT breakfast serves french toast sticks.

yes, $15.99 for adults and $9.99 for kids up to 12. Pretty much the standard for all of the character breakfasts.

Thanks for clearing that up for me! The pre-plated food thing bothered me. I prefer the choice of what I take (I'm big on not wasting food - so we try not to take it if we aren't going to eat it!:) ) I'd guess that at CRT you probably could TELL them what you did/did not want on your plate, but we felt SO rushed along when we were there. I understand they are busy and want to seat as many as possible, but I didn't find the dining experience to be magical at all (perhaps just a bad day... )

Where in Epcot is this breakfast held? My daughter loves Snow White, and I would only consider it if she is guaranteed to be there. Is getting a ressie as difficult as Cindy's?

I can't find my list of Ps's for my october trip! Can I call WDW dine and can they look it up?

Yes,WDW Dine can look it up.

They won't ever guarantee for characters to be at an event. But, we did see her at both breakfasts.

The breakfast is held at the restaurant in Norway. :)
