Really can't wait...course broke my ankle earlier this month and thinking I would be superwoman it wouldn't take too long to heal...yeah it is still pretty swollen...will see what the dr says tomorrow about recovery. My guy was so sweet in the ER, says "if needed we will just get you a wheelchair or scooter"

I think we'll be there at roughly the same time so you have about 7-8 weeks right? I've broken my ankle and a foot before and been up and walking around in the time you need for your trip. It still may get tired so you might need a wheelchair. But don't count on renting an ECV at Epcot especially if you arrive late in the AM or at any park late in the day. Depending upon what stage of healing you're at or what the doctor says you may want to rent a vehicle from a company outside for use the entire vacation. That's what we're doing for my DH who doesn't use one at home but with all the walking at Disney needs one for his scoliosis.

Also, be sure to bring your ace bandage or other elastic bandage even if the swelling is long gone (I bring mine for any big walking even years later) and good walking shoes. This is no time for vanity or wearing sandals! An ice pack might also just plain feel good. And above all, don't let this ruin the excitement of getting ready for your trip!

Time is ticking away slowly this week, especially since I am working evenings. My days are E_X_T_R_A____________L_O_N_G!________!

I've started researching my Universal days and rides since it's been about 9 years I think since we were last there. Lots of changes besides WWOHP!
