I just tried to get AAA discount for 3/12-3/20 for CBR or CSR and they were all out. I guess I'll keep my AAA discount for AS Movie for now.

Clearly I don't know have the magic.

AAA website shows 'no availability' anywhere for any 2009 dates I've tried. Can't get AAA rates on Disney site (OK , I knew that). Called Disney reservations and they told me (today, 6-Aug) that rates aren't out yet!

How come no love?

It looks like AAA does not have their web site updated yet. As I finally just called Disney directly yesterday afternoon and booked the WL for Jan 27th through the 31st with a room only AAA discount. The website through AAA was showing no avaiability and you cannot book a AAA discounted room through the Disney Website.

I just called again to see if AAA was available on the standard view at the YC - CM was not very friendly, but told me I either had to pick a water view at YC or Standard View at BC to get the AAA discount.

I told her that I didn't understand why they haven't had the discount on the YC and she said they must all be gone. I called at 10 am the day the rates were released and was told the same thing - is that possible?

I booked with AAA yesterday and changed my reservation today a bit but I'll give you the totals I had from yesterday:
WL standard room 4 day base AAA price $2054
WL standard room 4 day base WDW.com $2213

What I wanted and couldn't get today was this:
WL woodsview bunkbed 4 day base AAA price: $2262
WL woodsview bunkbed 4 day base WDW.com $2494

Looks as though I'm only getting a 10% discount although that is a package and I have no idea what room only is. I don't have a final total yet as I'll get that tomorrow. I did upgrade to a woodsview and my TA at AAA told me she'd keep checking for a bunkbed room. I've also been calling disney in case one comes available. I really wanted the bunkbeds as that among other things was the draw to WL. My dh says if I want it that bad we'll forgo the AAA discount but its a bit of a difference so I'm waiting to see if we get a pin code or to see if the public discount code will serve me better. I signed up for the dvd and signed myself and my husband up for emails so I'm hoping we'll get something soon.

Disney is only going to offer AAA discounts or any other discounts for that matter on rooms that they feel they cannot sell their desired number of at full price. Disney must feel that they can sell the YC standard view rooms at rack rate so why discount, just good business.
