We all know that the Poseidon's Fury Attraction has been shut down for modifications but other than the vague details released there really has not been anything else said. Can anyone elaborate on...
What type of elements will change?
What kind of storylines are added/changed?
Will the "Jeremy Irons" Poseidon Character still be utilized?
Will the "Oracle" still be involved?
Who is the "Tour Guide"?
What's Up?
HAVE FUN

Well a simple "no new information available" would have been fine. Goodness no need to be hatefull  Well has anyone that dosent work at Universal have any guesses on what could happen. This is a rumors board not a Hotel Discussion board so lets get some rumors started.

Earl we arrive for a weeks stay on 7/14. PLEASE tell me it will be open by then.

Yes, it SHOULD (as long as nothing major causes a delay) be open by mid-July.

The one hint I will offer is:

Parents, the new show will NOT be suitable for your younger children or those who are afraid of the dark. Our new attraction will be MUCH more interactive, MUCH darker, and MUCH more freightening.

Remember - you and your guide (sorry, I won't divulge the name!) will NOT be very welcome entering this tomb.

WOW! Thanks CoasterFEV! I can't wait for October! Anything new on HHN?

Thank you very much Coaster FEV. That wasn't so hard was it ;) See you can still give information without telling everything. I am glad I downloaded the original show video off Digital Universal (along with Digital Disney the best video and audio sites anywhere).

So it's a scary , dark ride now? In a tomb even?
And we'll have an interactive guide too? (Actor or Actress?)
Thanks CoasterFEV & Earl!!
Jim

Now this is just an educated guess here...just by doing active listening (or reading in this case)..he said it will be a dark ride...it will be a TOMB...and there will be frightening moments not suitable for younger children and a guide...considering the timing and all...TOMB...GUIDE...DArK..I am really believing this may be related to the Mummy....that would be so cool.....

I know it's just terminology here, but remember, this is a show, not a ride. Yes, it's apt to be darker and scarier than before, but it won't have anything to do with the Mummy movie.

From what I've heard there isn't an exact date yet. Earl and CoasterFEV had said they were hoping to be officially up by mid-July and have soft openings towards the end of June.

Jim

Ok, everyone pray to the powers that be that there will be a soft opening around the first week of July. We're at HRH from the 5th to the 8th! I would hate to miss the new and IMPROVED version!!;)

They can take as much time as they want, as long as all the time they want is before August 5th. Earl and CoasterFEV, you guys really got me looking forward to this show now. Thanks guys.

:bounce:

No, if it's Dark and a Tomb, that must mean that it's going to be Tomb Raider!

(Oh well, I can dream, can't I? ;) )
