New Pool At Grande Vista

Bump

Lorix2, I noticed you stayed at Vistana Villages and since you also stayed at G V and are going back I am very excited since I will trust your opinion of the place. We are also staying at Wydham Palms Golf where we also stayed last year another great place if you need an alternative to GV or VV. Obviously we have the same taste.

Bella - thank you ;)

I have heard only good things about Wyndham Palms too. That's great to know :wave2:

I just called the resort today to put in some requests since we'll be there May 30th.

When I asked when the new pool would be ready the lady I spoke to said she couldn't give a firm date but they were hoping for mid-June. If this is so I'd be bummed.....really hoping it does open on the 4th so we can try it out this trip.

Anybody else with info?

HarryO I live in Mass also. Just wondering since you are in Plymoth what is a good sea food restaurant? Was at the Lobster Hut( the other day not really thrilled. Have you been to the new restaurant next to it not sure of the name?? It looked very nice and a litte out of place on Main Street.

Hi all. Bumping this up again to see if there are any reports on the new pool from anyone just back? Thank you!

We were there from May 8th-15th. The bridge leading to the new pool was closed because of the construction, so we couldn't get too close. There was a sign showing an artist's rendering. It looks nice but nothing too fancy. It will be a fairly short walk from the current main pool area across the bridge. If there is anything specific you want to know, ask. I'll try to remember what I saw. Sorry...no pictures since we couldn't get over there.

There are two pools. It appears that one is slightly higher than the other with a foot bridge over the "waterfall" between the two pools. I wish I could remember what each pool had. The lower, I believe, had a zero-entry area, water cannons, and a water volleyball area. The upper pool had a lap area.
