New Planning DVD..

I am also patiently waiting for the new planning dvd to come out. My kids love it and all of the characters in it. I have a nearly 4 year old son named Luke so "Luke" is a huge favorite. Both of my sons thinks he's hilarious and so cool They love Dave, too. They say "he's just like Daddy."

I'm dying to see the new video and hear more about the Million Dreams promotion. I can't wait!

OK, that's a bit harsh. But we're not all down with the "MTV" generation cuts. I get sick watching it everytime. For now I stick with my old trusty VHS wdw planning video. Anyone else feel my pain?

ICK!! I hope Disney goes back to the way they USED to do their planning videos... with NO hosts. Or one that hardly showed themselves at least. I HATE HATE HATE this new format!

I totally agree. I don't watch to listen to hosts babble on and on. I want to see the scenery! And the rides! My favorite planning video is an old VHS one I have. Of course, that one shows Captain Eo, that's how old it is. But I love it.

I hear ya. I enjoy the old VHS planning video a bit more. However, I do love the beginning of the new video with Walt giving his opening statement and then all of the drums. That kind of fires me up.

I can't believe Erin was a Power Ranger.

Erin is kinda hot, I wonder if her show on Fox got picked up (probably not, it was HORRIBLE)

Erin Cahill, formerly the Pink Power Ranger and on a Chili's (Applebees?) commercial, didn't get a pick up, sadly, with her show "Free Ride" (which was ghastly, I might add). She did do a relatively recent photo shoot in FHM, though (April '06, I think), which I got to see while waiting for an oil change in my mechanics waiting room. Sorta kills watching the planning video anymore, though.

Maybe we should set up an old video exchange. I'm tearing my house apart because I KNOW I have the DVD from 2001, I just can't find it any more and I LOVED it. I'd be happy to take some old show videos to get burned onto DVD (I have Hunchback!) to swap with someone to see some old planning ones though.

I to cant wait for the new one to come out. I am guilty as charged tho. I never keep the old ones. I always trash them when my new one comes. Does everyone keep the old ones or is there others that throw them away as well when you get the new one? I just dont have the room to keep all of them. Bad enough I have almost 400 DVDs

This is the only Planning DVD I have so nothing to compare it with.

Why oh Why did I wait so long to find out I LOVE THE MOUSE. I am still in the early stages of my obsession and can only hoard the things I taped from TV and watch this one planning DVD over and over.

PS: I can't wait for the new DVD too!

Yup, I watched it last night...it's my guilty pleasure. I intend to order it every year from now on whether I go or not to start my own collection!

To answer a previously asked question about what teens thought of Luke. I'm a teen and the only reason he appealed to me was because he highlighted most of my favorite rides. If going through him is the only way to see them as often as I want, so be it, I can ignore his obnoxiousness.

Yes. Even my 14 yo complained that it was too jumpy.

Is it odd that none of us can think of the kids expert's name? I think it was Rachel, but I'm not sure. Overall, she and Dave are my favorites.

Luke needs to back up from the camera about 10 feet. Most of his "slang" doesnt' bother me, but he looks like he wants to make out with that camera. Also, his butchering of the Spanish language makes me want to throw something heavy at him every time I watch my DVD.

The one I have I got before my March '06 trip. Luke talks about EE, but it was still being built - I think only the frame was up at that point. I'm looking forward to getting the new one in hopes that there's some new material.

And don't bash poor Luke for his lack of distance. Maybe the camera man is a member of his 'Teamo Supremo'. They need to stay close.
