New Plan Allows Whole Pizza for Two Adult TS Credits!

This is a GREAT use of credits, imo... we were able to get this deal at Pop and POFQ under the DDP but it was not advertised... we were easily able to feed our family of four w/2 Adult TS credits... we got a whole 16" pie, two sodas, two salads and two desserts... MORE THAN ENOUGH! and the pdf for the '08 plan says it includes delivery and gratuity!

I don't think it is a very good use to 2TS credits, but to each their own--about a $40 value. I always felt that 2TS value shuld be closer to $50 for breakeven.

well, for our family, it is a GREAT use of credits... 'cause if we were to go to a TS restaurant to feed my family of four (two kids who are disneyadults) we'd use 4 TS credits... but for 2 TS credits we can easily feed the four of us!

*and* at most TS restaurants ds 10 doesn't like many of the adult options so he'll order a children's meal... so OOP for two of his kids' meals has a full dinner for four paid for! POOLSIDE! including delivery & gratuity!

Not for me. Where I come from a pizza that size costs $11.00 and IMHO it is the best Pizza in the world. New York City pizza is hard to beat.

But hey if you think it's a good deal go for it. I wouldn't waste two TS credits on a Pizza.

Yes, that's what I was thinking. I should have elaborated earlier. The pizza costs about $15 or $16. You're paying nearly $40/night per person for DDP. Subtract about $10 for CS and $4 for snack credits, that leaves you with a value of $26 per TS credit, give or take a buck. So you're actually 'paying' about $52 for that pizza with credits! Yikes!

I'd just pay OOP for the pizza if you really want it and take the kids to an extra character meal or something, choose buffet and they won't have trouble finding something they like to eat.

While I wouldn't order the pizza either, this comparison makes the pizza sound like a much better deal. For 2 credits, one adult in their family could have gone to HDDR. OTOH, 4 (Disney) adults in their family were able to eat the pizza meal for the same 2 credits.

Well, HDDR isn't the best DDP value either. It's 'worth' about $27.50 per TS credit. Still better than the pizza, depending on how you're looking at it. $16 for pizza and assuming $10 for 4 drinks (not sure what's actually included) that's $26 or $13 per TS credit. That's got to be about the lowest value out there. Even a character breakfast, not generally considered a good value, is still $18 plus tax.

I was just sitting here thinking. WHY?? Sorry but I think Pizza Hut is better then Disney Pizza. LOL!

Disney Pizza just has never done it for me. If I want Pizza while at Disney I leave property or call PapaJohns..... It might be a good value, but I guess I am picky. I like my food to taste good too.

In dollar value it's not a very good deal, if we only allow just $20 from the ddp to pay for the table service each day, then the deal is costing $40! However, it will suit some families where it might feed 4.

What works for some, doesn't work for others. For 2 adult credits we eat $120.00 worth of food at Le Cellier. For us that doesn't compare to a pizza.

My9 year old would live off of pizza if he could. And if he could order it at the pool, he would be there all week. I'm not muchinto it and dont drink pop at all. but the youngest son eats it also. So can they be kids TS credits or only adults. Do they deliver anywhere or only those two places. We will be at pop this christmas and We have 3 days that will be down days on the dining plan, maybe we could save some and use it on our 4 days of non dining plan after 10 days on the dining plan, now I know what to do if we end up with left over TS the last day, pizza for the boys for breakfast every morning.

So can kids ts be used for the pizza and where all can you get it. I really dont want to have to look through every menu. Thanks guys

I am not 100% sure, but, I think that your dining credits expire on midnight on the last day that you have purchased the dining plan, so I don't think that you can carry the credits over to your non-dining plan days.

I'm not sure of all the resorts that offer pizza delivery, but I'm pretty sure it must be 2 adult TS credits, not child credits.
